Gautam Guha is neither a doctor, nor a certified nutritionist. He is a serving professional and follows up on health and fitness as a passion. He reversed his Diabetes Mellitus Type2, Dyslipidemia, Hypertension & Obesity in early 2018 and besides shedding 37 kg of body weight also left his medications for the above ailments in that process.
Since Jul 2018, he embarked on this journey of helping, guiding and coaching individuals from all walks of life to reverse their lifestyle ailments and live a medicine free life. He is a motivational speaker and speaks at various platforms both live and online. Have you come across a single doctor recommending insulin tests? The drug industry will annihilate doctors recommending them. Path labs wont do these tests without prescription.

on Dec 30-12-2023 My A1C is 9.1 C peptide=6.4 Weight=95 kg lipid profile is quite high. Now 1-5-2024 My A1C is 5.8 Fasting insulin 8.99 Lipid profile Normal. I haven't used any Medication. just fellow Low carb diet and fasting. two meals per day and weight training.
The best rice substitute would be BUCKWHEAT. Buckwheat is a seed, not wheat. The texture and size almost similar to that of rice. Quinoa and sweet potato are also healthy substitutes . Buckwheat, quinoa and sweet potato are ALL GLUTEN-FREE, complex carbs, extremely healthy and won't cause inflammation. Don't eat brown rice..it has toxic arsenic!

NOT A SAD STORY! This video is certainly an over-rated claim on the risks of consuming sugar. The word "sugar" here generally refers to cane sugar or sucrose ("double sugar" as oppose to "single sugar" aka glucose. A dietician will tell you that if "sugar" is that harmful to your body, then "carbohydrate" such as rice, pasta, noodle, capati would be just as harmful as sugar and these staple food are all carbohydrates. They are all converted to glucose, only be absorbed by the body. Sugar 8X more additive than narcotic drug cocaine? Must be a big joke! If so, sugar should more than 8X ( 100X?) than nicotine (tobacco) and alcohol? "Sugar is food for cancer cells" is certainly a myth as sugar is also food for healthy cells and by starving the body of sugar, you are starving the health cells too. No solid scientific research has proven this. "Sugar is the principal cause of diabetes" - Indeed excess intake of sugar is one of the causes of diabetes, so does excessive intake of other forms of carbohydrates such as rice, pasta.... So are the other absurd claims of sugar causes ADHD in a child's brain, dementia & alzheimer in an adult's brain, sugar causes glaucoma, sugar causes skin wrinkles, sugar causes diabetes (only if excessive), sugar causes tooth cavities (only if you don't brush your teeth), sugar causes insomnia!
